Wemedoo announces strategic partnership with mediri to streamline imaging data management in clinical trials

Two innovators. One connected future for imaging-based trials.

Wemedoo, the Swiss-based innovator in unified clinical data management, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with mediri, a leading provider of advanced medical imaging solutions and AI-supported tools.

The collaboration integrates mediri’s mTRIAL platform with Wemedoo’s interoperable clinical data system, oomnia, giving research teams real-time access to imaging analysis, browser-based DICOM viewing, and automated, protocol-driven workflows. Together, Wemedoo and mediri empower clinical research teams with centralized oversight, faster radiologic evaluations, and streamlined operations from protocol design to final data analysis.

“Our mission with oomnia has always been to break down silos and give research teams full control over their clinical data,” said Nina Cihoric, CEO of Wemedoo. “Partnering with mediri means we’re now extending that capability to imaging data, one of the most complex and critical elements in modern clinical research.”

The partnership will initially focus on imaging-intensive trials in oncology and neurology, with plans to expand across additional therapeutic areas. The integration will allow sponsors, CROs, and academia to manage imaging and operational trial data within a unified system.

Matthias Günther, CEO of mediri, added, “By partnering with Wemedoo, we’re seamlessly combining our imaging analysis expertise with oomnia’s powerful data infrastructure. Together, we’re creating an end-to-end, scalable solution that meets the demands of modern, image-driven clinical trials.”
